The Scottish singer’s next album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, will be released Soon. The album features the single Forget Me.
It follows on the heels of Capaldi’s critically praised 2019 debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which became the best-selling UK record of both 2019 and 2020.
The New Album Release Date
The 26-year-old has also revealed plans for a spring 2023 tour of North America.
Capaldi remarked of the new album, “I don’t want to create a new sound for myself or reinvent myself.”
When I get down to composing music, it’s always about something heartfelt like love or grief.
More than 100 million streams have been racked up worldwide since the song’s release, and Capaldi is only the third artist this year to have a single debut at number one on the UK charts.
Capaldi explained that the song was inspired by a recent breakup: “It’s about a breakup I went through where, after a year, the only genuine contact I had with my ex was seeing her ‘post-me’ life play out on her Instagram.”

I created a song about how I felt like it wasn’t fair that she seemed happy while I was grieving and how I worried that she had entirely forgotten about me.
The musician has recently come forth about his struggles with Tourette’s disease and the use of Botox to manage his tics by injecting it into his shoulder.
Tics are involuntary sounds and movements that a person with Tourette syndrome may exhibit, and he discussed his diagnosis and ongoing research into the disorder in an Instagram Live broadcast last month.
After initially suspecting he had a degenerative disease, Capaldi said he was relieved to learn he has the ailment.
On Friday at noon local time, the general public will be able to purchase tickets to his next North American tour. You can check TheActiveNews.Com for the latest information.
