We’re dedicated members of the community band because we love music and want to share that love with others while also improving our musical abilities.
Joining ACB’s network will help you in many ways, including expanding your fan base, raising money, and learning about exciting themed concerts.
The first six months of membership are half-price for new members (July 1st through October 1st). Joining the ACB right now is a fantastic idea.
How to Join or Renew Membership Dues
Being a member demonstrates your support for local bands and the art form of concert band music. You’re officially part of the “International Voice of Community Bands” after you sign up for membership.
Discounts from select vendors are available to ACB members in addition to access to the Member’s Only section of the website,
which features a directory of all active ACB members, the ACB Band Builder’s Manual, back issues of The ACB Journal in PDF format, Sample Bylaws from ACB members, and other ACB documents and resources.
Many members look forward to the annual ACB Convention, where they can meet other musicians, participate in educational seminars, and even play in the ACB Convention Band.
Advertise in The ACB Journal at member rates and submit articles and news stories to be included in the publication.
If you’ve been a member of the organization for the last two years, you’re eligible to be included in the Find-A-Band Directory and submit an application to play at the convention.
Future Association of Concert Bands Conventions
The Conventions Committee is looking for recommendations for future convention sites. This form should be used to submit a proposal.
