Bayfield Summer Concert: The Show Can Be Started in September by Composer Arthur Maud Will Be

Thursday, September 1 at 5:30 p.m., Bayfield Presbyterian Church will host a performance of Art Songs and Chamber Music III by Minneapolis and Bayfield composer Arthur Maud.

Charles Asch, cellist; Mary Goetz, pianist; Evan Shall cross, violin; and Krista Palmiest, singer, all of the Twin Cities, will perform. Bayfield concertgoers would recognize them from last year when they played Maud’s music.

This will be Maud’s third year performing her original music at the Bayfield Summer Concert. Holy Family in Bayfield hosted a chamber and choral concert in 2019,

He led the vocal and early instrumental ensembles of Conceptus Music’s Minnesota for over 20 concert seasons, during which they recorded multiple albums.

Maud has spent his whole professional life in music education, including time spent lecturing on musical history and theory and leading choirs in both secular and religious settings.
