Brandon Copeland Early Life
On July 2, 1991, in the town of Sykesville, Maryland, Brandon Copeland entered the world. His background, including his parents and childhood, is mostly unknown. His father’s identity remains unknown, but his mother’s name, Angela Hilton Copeland, is public knowledge. Roy Hilton, his grandfather, played football professionally for the Baltimore Colts.
When Brandon was done with his schooling he attended Gilman. Since his elementary school years, he has been a rather active athlete. In April of 2013, Copeland was signed by the Baltimore Ravens and thus began his professional football career. The Ravens released him on August 31, 2013, after he had been a member of the team for four months. Tennessee Titans signed him to their practice squad in October of 2013. He was cut from the Titans’ practice squad on November 5th, 2013, however, he was re-signed by the team on November 12th, 2013. He inked a deal with the Titans for the foreseeable future in December of 2013.
Brandon joined the professional football team the Detroit Lions on April 7, 2015, signing a one-year contract. After competing at the NFL Veterans Combine, he was offered a contract by the Titans and signed as one of the combine’s winners. He was sidelined for the year after tearing his pectoral muscle in the first preseason game of 2017. He was signed by the New York Jets in March of 2018 and appeared in 16 games for them.
