At New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Christopher Bell beat Start chasing Elliott by a huge margin on the penultimate lap after several strong efforts.
This was his first win of the season. Having won his playoff spot thanks to the Ambetter 301, Bell is no longer dependent on points.
In the final laps of the race, the 27-year-old driver overtook Elliott and won the race. A comfortable lead was established between him and the field as he raced down the 1.058-mile track, eventually winning by 5.767 seconds.
When Elliott slid into second place on Lap 259 of 301, Bell snatched the lead with some nimble driving around the turn.
In his three-year career, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver has now won two races with Joe Gibbs Racing. Since the start of the 2022 season, he has been the only new winner.
The Oklahoma-raised driver won three consecutive Xfinity races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway from 2018 to 2021 and finished second in the Ambetter 301 last year.
