Cillian Murphy Early Life
Cillian Murphy entered this world on May 25, 1976, in the town of Douglas, County Cork, Ireland. His mother was a French teacher and his father worked for the Irish Department of Education; they raised him in Ballintemple, Cork.
By the time he was 10, Murphy was already playing the piano and creating songs. During his time at Presentation Brothers College, a Catholic high school where he excelled academically but frequently found himself in hot water, he was a disruptive student.
