Dababy Concert: Rapper Responded to the Allegation of Low Ticket Sales

The concert of the rapper DaBaby, which was to take place in New Orleans in the coming days, has been postponed, presumably due to poor ticket sales.

On Friday, September 2, the Charlotte, North Carolina rapper was scheduled to perform at the Smoothie King Center,

which has a maximum capacity of about 17,791 for concerts. However, organisers cancelled the performance at the last minute and said they were seeking to find a substitute.

This performance may not even take place at the same location, and it may feature additional artists in addition to DaBaby.

Despite claims from organisers that the show was just “postponed,” the event is no longer listed on Ticketmaster’s website. Promoter Greg Pulver said, “We’re working on a future date and potentially other performances.”

According to Pulver, “a multitude of business considerations” led to the cancellation of the show. In the words of Pulver, “We opted to postpone and it was in our best interest.” The lowest price for a ticket to the show was $35.

There has been no official word on whether or not the show was cancelled due to disappointing ticket sales.

NOLA, citing a viewing of Ticketmaster’s chart of available seats, stated that it looked like only a few hundred tickets to the event were purchased.

According to Andrew Lieber, CEO of the booking agency that represents the rapper, “DaBaby’s New Orleans event was cancelled by the artist’s team owing to the promoter being in breach of contract.” “DaBaby will be back in New Orleans very soon to make it up to his fans.”

Lieber further alleged that the Ticketmaster website presented deceptive information about the number of tickets sold, and denied the performance was cancelled owing to little interest.

On Tuesday, the rapper trended on Twitter due to a rumour that ticket sales had been disappointing, and he has since seemingly responded to the rumour with a gif of himself. You can check TheActiveNews.Com for the latest information.
