Update 126.96.36.199 for Destiny 2 will be released on March 10, and Bungie has provided a brief summary of what players can expect from today’s patch notes.
Smaller hotfixes and updates will be released in the following weeks to ensure that everything is functioning as it should in light of the recent influx of new material.
And it’s been verified that today’s Destiny 2 update has one significant modification that Witch Queen owners should be aware of.
WHEN DOES DESTINY 2 UPDATE 188.8.131.52 COME OUT?
Destiny 2 Update 184.108.40.206 will be released on Thursday, March 10, 2022, according to Bungie. The development team has revealed that there will be maintenance required, which means that this patch will be released at a different time than prior ones. At 1 pm GMT on March 10, Destiny 2 servers will go down for maintenance, which will last until 5 pm GMT.
At 1:45 p.m. local time in the United Kingdom, guardians will be removed from all activities for a period of three hours or less. Those who live in North America will be able to download the new Destiny 2 update at 5 pm GMT, or 9 am PDT if they live in Europe.
DESTINY 2 DOWNTIME AND MAINTENANCE
The following is a list of scheduled downtime for Destiny 2:
1300 UTC: Destiny 2 and 1 will be down for maintenance at 5:00 AM PST (1300 UTC).
Some Bungie.net, mobile, and third-party app Destiny API functionality will be disabled. Issues should be reported in the #Help forum by players.
At 6:45 a.m. PST, the servers for both Destiny 1 and 2 will be shut down for maintenance purposes.
Players will be unable to log back in until 9 a.m. PST at the earliest.
Destiny’s scheduled maintenance will be completed at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) today.
All platforms and locations will be able to download and install the latest hotfix, 220.127.116.11, at 9:00 AM PST / 1700 UTC.
Fans of Destiny 1 and 2 will be able to log back in.
It will be possible to sign in again to the Bungie.net website and mobile apps.
Background maintenance is still taking place, which means that players may have to wait in a queue to check in to the game.
Destiny 1 and 2 maintenance is scheduled to end at 10:00 AM PST (18:00 UTC).
Bungie has not yet released the full details of the upcoming update, but we do know that the drop rates for four Throne World-themed weapons obtained in The WellSpring will be increased for both the normal and Deepsight Resonance editions. Along with these other fixes and additions, this Destiny 2 update will bring back the previously disabled Enhanced 1-2 Punch trait. When the patch notes are released later today, Guardians can expect to learn more official information.
