On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before Labor Day, downtown Oak Harbor plays host to the annual Oak Harbor Music Festival.
There are two main stages where bands of various genres will perform all weekend long. Plenty of food and drink can be found at the area’s two beer gardens, as well as the many food stands and sidewalk cafes.
As you make your way from performance to performance, stop by the various booths selling arts and crafts and festival swag to pick up some unique mementos. To top it all off, there is no cost to enter; the event is completely free.
More than 20,000 people of all ages show up for this free event in downtown Oak Harbor’s historic district. Highlighting the weekend are performances by 30 bands, spanning all musical genres, on two main stages.
Visitors can also purchase Festival merchandise and enjoy the many foods and drink vendors, beer gardens, and arts and crafts booths.
Everyone can find something they enjoy, from the adult-only “Center Stage” to the kid-friendly performances on the main stage.
A portion of the Festival’s proceeds funds financial aid for high school seniors who plan to major in a musical discipline. TheActiveNews.Com is the place to go if you want to read the most up-to-date articles like this one.
