Raised by Wolves has wrapped off another season, and our brains are melting even faster than poor Ville’s. While there is much to absorb in the season two final episode, this episode feels more like a stop than an official conclusion.
Assuming the program is revived, we may expect a plethora of new religious symbolism and wacky sci-fi antics.
Showrunner Aaron Guzikowski told Collider in February 2022 that he’s already writing scripts for season three:
If we reach that position, who knows if it will be ordered to production or not.” There will be no source material for us if it is ordered. I must keep working on this because I cannot stop writing about it.
This is my entire universe, and it will remain thus for the duration of the play.” As a method writer, I’m like a method actor, except that I have to live in this universe,” he said.
Raised By Wolves’ future move is as yet unknown. Season three of Raised by Wolves is here, and we’d want you to join us here at Digital Spy for a deeper look.
Season 3 of Raised by Wolves Could Arrive at Any Time. Sky and HBO Max Have Yet to Announce the Release Date for the Upcoming Third Season of Raised by Wolves.
Due to COVID-related production delays between seasons one and two, there is no clear trend to draw from here. However, if the program is renewed shortly, we can expect season three in 2023.
New episodes are expected to be released in the second half of the year at the earliest. The CGI artists will need plenty of time to pixellate all of the bizarre elements in this film.

- Amanda Collin as Mother/Lamia
- Abubakar Salim as Father
- Winta McGrath as Campion
- Jordan Loughran as Tempest
- Felix Jamieson as Paul
- Ethan Hazzard as Hunter
- Aasiya Shah as Holly
- Ivy Wong as Vita
- Matias Varela as Lucius
- Selina Jones as Grandmother
Because she’s now a tree, Niamh Algar won’t be appearing as Sue/Mary anymore. Because the initial goal was to kill her off at the end of season one, at least she made it to season two.
The future of Travis Fimmel as Marcus/Caleb is less certain. It looks like he’s dead at the end of Season 2, but then he reappears floating upside-down in the air in the tree at the beginning of Season 3. Are we to interpret this to suggest that Marcus is now the Entity’s vehicle? Travis Fimmel may be returning, even if Marcus isn’t.
In response to a question from Decider, the show’s creator, Aaron Guzikowski, hinted at some exciting new events for the upcoming season:
“What I can say about that particular moment is pretty much tainted by the fact that it happened. I think you have to look at it as a snapshot, as a single moment in time. And see where it takes you, as well. It’s like entering a cave and having to rely solely on what you bring with you. I can say with certainty that Travis [Fimmel] will return for the third season. That’s true, so I’ll say it.”
