Slipknot Concert 2022: Japanese Band One Ok Rock Would Be Performing

According to plans the organizer shared with ABS-CBN News, the masked metal band is expected to perform at the Amoranto Stadium in Manila on a date that has not yet been announced.

No further specifics were disclosed, but it was also stated that the Japanese band ONE OK ROCK would be performing at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon.

Whether or whether the rumoured concerts will actually take place in 2022 remains to be seen at this time. In March of 2023,

Slipknot will finally play the long-delayed Indonesian instalment of the Hammersonic Festival before heading to April’s Knotfest Japan at Chiba, Japan’s Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall.

Other planned concerts by SUPER JUNIOR, All Time Low, The Maine, and (G)I-DLE have also been announced by PULP Live World.

Unfortunately for Slipknot fans, their April 2020 Southeast Asia tour dates were canceled owing to the global spread of the Coronavirus. Two shows in Tokyo, and a single show each in Singapore, Manila, and Jakarta were on the schedule.

After signing with Roadrunner in 1998, Slipknot is slated to release their seventh studio album, titled “The End, So Far,” on September 30 via the label. The album will also feature the recently released tune “The Dying Song (Time To Sing)” and the 2021 hit “The Chapeltown Rag.”

During the band’s first live performance of the new single “The Dying Song (Time To Sing)” on July 28 in Prague, singer Corey Taylor addressed speculation that the record would signal a breakup for Slipknot. That is the furthest thing from the truth, my friends,” Taylor said to the crowd.

The title, “The End, So Far,” reflects the fact that a previous chapter has concluded and a new one has begun. How about that, guys? Can you feel me out there?

It’s great to see Slipknot join the lengthy list of foreign musicians who have returned to the region since the pandemic public health safety precautions were lifted,

including the possibility of a concert in the Philippines. Other than LANY, Justin Bieber and Boy Pablo have confirmed upcoming concerts in Southeast Asia. For more information and updates visit TheActiveNews.Com.
