A non-profit fan film called Spider-Man: Lotus is partly inspired on two well-known Spider-Man tales: “The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man” and “Spider-Man: Blue.” The 1983 edition of The Amazing Spider-Man #248 features the story “The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man” by Roger Stern, Ron Frenz, Terry Austin, Bob Sharen, and Diana Albers. Spider Man Lotus Release Date
The planned fan film Spider-Man: Lotus, which has been dogged by controversy since 2022, has a new poster and a release date that were just revealed by writer/director Gavin J. Konop.
Konop said in a Twitter post that Spider-Man: Lotus will be coming to YouTube for free on August 10th, 2023. He also uploaded a Marvel fan movie poster made by Israel Soteldo, which shows the Webslinger perched on a structure in the midst of a downpour.
In October 2021, Spider-Man: Lotus’ debut teaser was released. One year later, lead actor Warden Wayne and producer Konop were accused of uttering racial and homophobic remarks.

Explaining Spider Man Lotus Controversy
The Marvel fandom was excited to hear about Spider-Man: Lotus when it was initially revealed. However, the fan film turned into a contentious endeavor as numerous clips of Wayne making homophobic and racial remarks were posted online in June 2022, leading many people—including the VFX team—to distance themselves from Spider-Man: Lotus.
