Koppelman, Levien, and Schacter will continue to write, executive produce, and serve as showrunners in the upcoming second season. As part of Koppelman and Levien’s overall Showtime deal, Paul Schiff will also serve as executive producer on the Showtime series.

Other economic factors may come into play when determining the fate of a show, but in general, the better-rated series are renewed while the less popular ones are canceled.
