Full attendance is expected for UCF’s home football and other sporting events this autumn. On June 23rd, just before the commencement of the Summer B academic term, the university plans to return to a pre-COVID environment.
As of that date, there will be no physical distancing limits and full participation in UCF sporting and social events will be permitted.
On-campus face-coverings have been abolished at the University of Central Florida. However, some fans may still prefer to cover their faces.
Following the Florida Board of Governors’ instruction and in conjunction with other State University System institutions, UCF has decided to amend its rules.
University of Central Florida vice president and athletics director Terry Mohajir said this “vote of confidence in that strategy and a noteworthy step in that direction” reflects the university’s anticipated restoration to full capacity by the fall.

On Sept. 2, 3, or 4, the Knights host Boise State in their season opener. After leading the nation in passing last year (averaging 357.0 yards per game), UCF welcomes back 57 letterwinners to their roster for 2021, including star quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
