Early this year, we saw the debut of the first trailer for season 3 of Demon Slayer. Unfortunately, most of it just restates what has already happened.

A new sword (later used by Tanjiro) is being forged in the Swordsmith Village, and the Love and Mist Hashira are shown individually in the sizzle reel. You can view the entire thing up top.

The second trailer is a far more extensive teaser of the Swordsmith Village arc, with fresh footage and hints of new allies and adversaries, and you can watch it in the linked video below. You can also check out the season’s OP (opening), which features music by Man With a Mission and Milet, right here (opens in a new tab). you can also check out the official Twitter Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba “Swordsmith Village Arc”

What Happens In Swordsmith Village During Season 3 Of Demon Slayer?

When Season 3 of "Demon Slayer"

Season 3 of Demon Slayer is the Swordsmith Village Arc. We won’t ruin anything for you by discussing the source material, but we think it will cover manga chapters 100-127. Since the Entertainment District Arc also spanned episodes 70–99, we should expect a similar range of episodes this season—roughly 12 episodes.

Tanjiro, barring any extraordinary circumstances, will visit Swordsmith Village to acquire a new blade. Fortunately, an antique weapon can be found in the town. But things aren’t so simple, what with the Love and Mist Hashiras (and possibly other Upper-Rank demons) being thrown into the mix.

More generally, the direction that the show would likely follow after season 3 of Demon Slayer was hinted at by the finale’s focus on the Entertainment District. Without a doubt, Tengen is still very much alive despite being removed from the game. Maybe Tanjiro, he assured Iguro, would take over for him as Hashira. The Demon Slayers will thereafter be able to retaliate against their true enemy. Kibutsuji Muzan
