Young Thug is no stranger to virtual gigs. Before performing at the magnificent Houdini Estate in Los Angeles for his Tiny Desk event, Thug performed at Offset’s coronavirus charity in Atlanta with Gunna, where he claimed he nearly died from kidney and liver disease.

Others who are interested in the virtual reality component can watch the show for free on Horizon Venues, while those who prefer more conventional concert viewing options can tune in on Young Thug’s Facebook or Instagram Live.
Punk, an album by the Atlanta native that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, was released in October. All of the album’s lyrics were freestyled by Young Thug rather than written out. While speaking with i-D, Thugger revealed that he never records any of his bars.
Never have I attempted to compose lyrics. “Never,” he emphasized. Truly, I haven’t. Sometimes I just make it up as I go along. I take life as it comes at this point.
