The Hajime no Ippo manga series was created and is illustrated by the legendary Japanese manga artist Masataka Mori. As of June 2021, it had been collected into 131 tankbon volumes after being published in Weekly Shonen Magazine from October 1989.

It is based on a graphic novel called Your Name (Boku no Natsuyasumi). Ippo Makunouchi, a high school student who takes up boxing, begins winning titles and fighting a variety of opponents in this film.

From October 2000 until March 2002, Nippon TV aired a 76-episode anime adaptation produced by Madhouse. Both a television movie and a video animation were released in 2003, respectively.

Hajime No Ippo Sales and Profitability

More than 15,000 copies have been sold so far. An anime series’ revenue comes primarily from DVD/Blu-ray sales, which account for about 15% of the total. Many anime series have failed because of this strategy, which sounds unprofitable.

Anime is a multi-billion dollar industry thanks to its ability to market a wide range of items. Some of the stuff that was available for purchase included:

Hajime No Ippo Season 4 Plot

A shy high school student, Ippo Makunouchi spent most of his free time helping his mother run the family’s angling characters company. The bullies Umezawa was leading started picking on him because he was so reclusive.

To save Ippo’s life, a middleweight professional boxer walking by stopped and carried the injured Ippo to the Kamogawa Gym, established by a former boxer named Genji Kamogawa.

The fighter who helped Ippo recover offered him to pound on sandbags after he had expressed his rage at the noises of boxers practicing, something he had done earlier. When they saw Ippo’s boxing skills for the first time, they were shocked. When Ippo reflected on the events that had transpired since the conflict, he made the decision to train as a professional boxer.

Even throughout the fights, we learn more about both fighters’ personalities and motivations. As a result of his aggressive temperament, Ippo is able to learn about his opponents and even feel empathy for them prior to a fight.

Ippo is a quiet and modest person who has reservations about his own abilities. To put it another way, seeing the opponent’s strength and realizing that he is capable of dealing with it gives him the energy to get back up and go after it. The early episodes of the series are dominated by Ippo and his friendly rivalry with Miyata. As a result, the road to the Japanese Featherweight Championship and ultimately the global championship for Ippo has begun.

All of the other characters’ histories, motives, and links to others are revealed to the audience as they progress through the film. An assortment of supporting characters and antagonists, as well as stories about their adventures in the ring, round out the story. For a long time, the trailer hasn’t been officially released.

Is It Over For Hajime No Ippo?

Over the past 30 years, George Morikawa’s Hajime no Ippo manga has been released. A decade later, in 1989, he launched it and it’s still going strong! As a tribute to the manga’s 30th anniversary, Morikawa appeared on an Abema TV show on March 5, 2018.

Ippo’s Story in the Hajime No Ippo Manga Series

It’s made by one of the best anime studios in history (Madhouse), therefore it must be good. In spite of not being able to explain the complete narrative, it’s astounding in its maleness.

Because of its extensive history, I had high hopes that it would live up to my expectations, but it’s a beautiful story that even non-sports enthusiasts would be engaged in. It is a pleasure to see Hajime No Ippo.

Is there any Trailer Yet?

So, before we can even hope for the teaser, we must first have faith that the anime will be approved before we can even hope for the teaser itself.

Where to Watch Online?

The ideal way to read Hajime No Ippo is sequential. Even the Specials and OVAs are necessary because there are no fillers in the anime. Every time, I begin this list with the most critical facts. As a result, I’ll go through each one one by one now. However, there is no use in hurrying anything because it will only lead to a lower level of efficacy and enjoyment for all parties participating in the process.

Crunchyroll has the original Japanese audio and English subtitles for “Hajime no Ippo.” So, if you haven’t seen the show yet, you can catch up there.
