Masterchef Jock Zonfrillo Cause of De@th Investigation
Jock Zonfrillo, the presenter of MasterChef Australia, was discovered de@d on Monday (1 May 2023) in a Melbourne hotel after his wife Lauren had contacted the police to check on him.
When Zonfrillo did not respond to Lauren’s repeated phone calls from Italy, Lauren called the police to report her concerns.
The police reportedly discovered nothing out of the ordinary, as the Daily Mail Australia reported. The news site says he died of natural causes, although a coroner’s report hasn’t been produced to corroborate this. His body has been returned to his loved ones at this time.
On Thursday (4 May 2023) afternoon, Andy Allen and Alex Davey, co-hosts on Zonfrillo’s MasterChef, were spotted driving to their Carlton home. It has been reported that they discussed show promotion with officials from Channel Ten, the Australian network that airs the show, and fellow judge Melissa Leong.
David’s “best mate,” as Davey put it to the Daily Mail, had d!ed, she said. The series, which was scheduled to premiere in Australia on Monday but will instead air on Sunday, has the full backing of the family.
