MAPPA celebrated its tenth anniversary in style, revealing a slew of new and interesting projects for us to look forward to in 2019. Chainsaw Man and Takt Op. Destiny was both announced to premiere this year, and fans couldn’t be more excited.

Takt Op. Destiny Season 2 Release Date
It has been announced that the anime series will launch in Japan on October 5th this year, so be ready to count down the days. Crunchyroll or Funimation are the most likely options for streaming, although we don’t know for sure at this time.
Perhaps Takt Op. Destiny will be available on Netflix in the future.
Takt Op. Destiny Season 2 cast
According to Anime News Network, the creative team behind this series comprises Dororo’s Yoshihiro Ike, Yuuki Itoh as director, Reiko Nagasawa as character designer, and Kiyoko Yoshimura as a composer of the series.
Takt Asahina will be voiced by Haikyuu and My Hero Academia actor Kouki Uchiyama, who has previously lent his talents to the anime series My Hero Academia and Haikyuu.
This cast alone should be enough to get you excited, but here’s one more to get you pumped up: A collaboration between animation studios MAPPA and Madhouse is bringing you an anime that’s nothing short of a work of art. Take a shot. Destiny is in good hands.
Takt Op. Destiny Season 2 synopsis
The world of Takt Op. Destiny is tormented by monsters known as “D2” as a result of a mystery meteorite collision with the planet. The D2s immediately prohibited all forms of music upon the entrance of these lethal invaders, realizing that this was their sole weak point.
Takt Asahina, the world’s foremost young female conductor, is on a mission to rid the world of these monstrous creatures and restore music to its rightful place. However, will he succeed?
