They were married for 33 years, and their union served as an example to many. The video was marked with the words, “Beautiful Man. Both inside and out,” and the background music was Sweet Love by Anita Baker.

Eric Mumford and Lynn Toler wed on April 6, 1989 after first meeting in 1986. Together, the couple gave birth to William and Xavier Mumford, who are now in their 30s. Four sons were also born to Eric Mumford’s first marriage.

Lynn Toler, 63, of Columbus, Ohio, is not only a lawyer but also the author of Making Marriage Work. For 13 years up to March 2020, she also served as the show’s host before Faith Jenkins took over. Eric Mumford, also known as Big E by Toler, was apparently a retired accountant, despite the fact that not much is known about him.

After a two-year engagement, the pair wed in 1989, having begun d@ting in 1986. Judge Toler documented the history of their relationship through a carousel of images on Instagram on their anniversary in 2022, noting that they were “unceremoniously hitched at lunchtime.”

She remarked that she and Big E had been married for 33 years and had been d@ting for 35 years. She claimed that there was no “happily ever after” and that the “journey” was what really important.
