The release dates for Travis Scott’s new album Utopia and the accompanying movie Circus Maximus, both of which were produced at Rolling Loud Miami, have been made public.
On Saturday, July 22, the Houston rapper performed on stage at the acclaimed festival. He released the Circus Maximus trailer only for the audience at the conclusion of his roughly hour-long performance.
The Cactus Jack Records founder performed in the teaser, which also included images of a Pompeii, Italy, landscape and a bush in the shape of a “U,” possibly alluding to Utopia. Additionally, Scott asserted that the movie would be “dropping in theaters.”

Speaking of Utopia, Travis Scott also declared that it would arrive on July 28 – the same day Circus Maximus is expected to arrive.

Circus Maximus’s announcement of its release puts a stop to the rumours that had been circulating about the “secret” movie. It came to light earlier that Travis Scott wrote and starred in an A24 film that Harmony Korine covertly directed.
They allegedly produced an action-focused feature film that was shot entirely in infrared and just test-screened at the Metrograph in New York. The Weeknd and Bad Bunny are two of the biggest names in music, and they both appear on Utopia’s most recent single, which was released on July 21.
The song, titled “K-POP,” was created by the Drake hitmakers Boi-1da, Illangelo, Jahaan Sweet, and BNYX. Travis’ first album since the tragedy at the 2021 Astroworld Festival, which claimed ten lives, will be Utopia, the eagerly anticipated follow-up to 2018’s Astroworld.
