Our Flag Means Death’s second season has been in the works for a very long time; it was formally renewed soon after the first season aired, more than a year ago. However, a tentative release date has now been set.
Given the overwhelming support season 1 received on social media and its burgeoning popularity among other Max substance, the series’ comeback isn’t all that shocking. Our Flag Means Death Season 2 Release Date
It has been speculated that the next season would begin in October. There isn’t currently a set date for release.

Our Flag Means Death Season 2 Storyline
Season 2 will begin with Stede (Rhys Darby) and Blackbeard (Taika Waititi), at least initially, still apart. Izzy’s actor Con O’Neill teased that the season “doesn’t follow the expected route,” which might be difficult for those who are itching to see the two reunited both physically and romantically.
The Revenge, the ship Blackbeard commandeered in season 1, will be back, but there will also be a second pirate ship which also alludes to some significant alterations to the setting. There are also the sets for a floating market, Stede’s cabin (empty when we visit), and the Republic of Pirates. Additionally, it was claimed that the costuming division required costumes for about 150 Chinese pirates and a fleet of 100 navy officers.
Stede And Ed Experience In Season 2
The first season concludes with Stede returning to his pirate friends after Stede and Blackbeard split up (in a way) at the end of season 1.

Waititi, Darby, O’Neill, Leslie Jones as Spanish Jackie, Matthew Maher as Black Pete, Vico Ortiz as Jim, Kristian Nairn as Wee John, Joel Fry as Frenchie, Samson Kayo as Oluwande, Ewen Bremner as Nathaniel Buttons, and Samba Schutte as Roach are all returning, along with the majority of the cast. Although Foad was mentioned as a love interest in the series, it wasn’t clear if he would actually be back.
In addition, it also teases the appearance of a few fresh faces, including Minnie Driver as the real-life Irish pirate Anne Bonny and Ruibo Qian as a mystery trader named Susan with her own agenda. Along with Madeleine Sami, Anapela Polataivao also joins the cast.
