Brian Laundrie Cause of De@th
On Monday (22 May), investigators reported that just Brian Laundrie’s b0nes remained after his body had been mostly devoured by animals following his dea@h. The disappearance of Brian Laundrie, Gabby Petito’s fiance, last summer sparked a media frenzy.
According to the findings of the CNN, autopsy conducted by the Medical Examiner of Sarasota County, Florida, Laundrie d!ed of a gunshot wound to the head.
The medical examiner reported that Laundrie’s skeletal remains were found in October in a highly wooded area of the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, after having lain there for some time “under up to three feet and possibly more” of water.
“extensive carnivore activity evidenced by multiple gouging and gnawing marks consistent with carnivores or omnivores including canines such as feral dogs and coyotes, along with rodents and raccoons,” said officials, explaining why only Laundrie’s skeleton remained.
In the 47-page report, investigators detail the discovery of a backpack with a tent and flares, a piece of paper bearing the “Moab Coffee Roasters” trademark and a red cap, and a wooden box containing a small notebook and photographs near where Laundrie’s remains were located.
According to the FBI, Laundrie admitted responsibility for Gabby Petito’s de@th in a notepad that was located alongside his body.
